our team

Caja Solidaria aspires to a worker-self-directed non-profit structure.    Workers at Caja Solidaria operate as a collective.  While Sonya is the executive director, our staff team works through a self-management system overseen by our board of directors and accountable to community stakeholders.

We organize our work through circles.  A circle is a group of people working to accomplish similar parts of our mission.

The community engagement circle works to implement our vision of mutual aid through a variety of initiatives.

Operations Circle

The operations circle makes sure we buy the food, pay the bills, make beautiful markets, and show up where we are needed.
